This is my regular Sunday morning route and I live just 5 minutes away from the trail head. Cornwall Park features rolling hills and pastures, and excellent farm and bird life. Just watch out for the cows and poo splatter.

He felt very strong today, and just glad he’s past the re-training injuries (dodgy knee ligaments, first the left, then the right, then strained his left right calf going downhill. Poor guy). I could have run up One Tree Hill but fearing a re injury, we took the scenic, easier route.
At 34, gone are the days when you could just go on and on and on. Now you have to listen to your body, allow time to heal and be patient.
Today his body seems to be saying “More Bengay please.”
Hello. I’d like to introduce myself.
8.4KM, Vector Arena to St. Helliers, March 15, 2009
That’s us at the HSBC Round The Bays in Auckland, New Zealand. 8.4KM @ 62.36. Not my true time kasi you can hardly run until about 15 minutes past the start line (took another 15 to get to the start line). Reminds me of my ROTC days and Alay Lakad.
This is our first real attempt to get back a PR of 54 minutes @ a 10K pace since gaining 15lbs. (ok 20) and moving to New Zealand two years ago.
A little to the right. The extremely good looking one (his words, not mine).
This is a running blog and welcome to my world (as told through my shoe).
